Getting started!
Hello all,
My name is Rain Dancer, real name believe me, I have thought of this blog as an outlet that will help me share my experience, in and out of the classroom, with people interested in education and professional development in particular, and life experiences in general.
The first thing I’d like to share, and which reveals a lot about me, is this moving quote by Mark Twain:
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
I think that the virtues of exploring, dreaming and discovering called for by Twain are the main motives that got me into starting this blog. However, this couldn’t have started without the help of some great great friends.
I hope you will find it interesting and worth your time to read and react to the posts of this blog.
Rain Dancer.
